Some time ago, when the Kempinski Bahia Team invited me and my blogger friend Maren to enjoy their lovely hotel and be their guests for a few days we surely couldn't say no.... So now I'm excited to show you a few pictures of the Kempinksi Bahia and tell you a bit more about it. :) It is 20 minutes away from Puerto Banus and Marbella, 50 minutes from Malaga Airport and luckily also perfectly located to Purobeach - which only 2 minutes away. (See my blog post about our lovely day there here!) The hotel has a privileged position by the sea, surrounded by lush gardens and including several swimming pools, the Kempsinksi Bahia offers 128 rooms (ranging in size from 42 to 45m²) and 17 luxury suites. The Royal Suite (which is the biggest of all Suites and was our beautiful home while we stayed at the Kempinski Bahia) covers an area of approximately 460m². On two floors it offers some really nice features like a huge walk-in wardrobe, a kitchen, almost 200m² of roof terrace, 3 flatscreens and last but not least you have your own sky bar there! Magnificent! Besides breathtaking luxury rooms and suites Kempinski Bahia also offers a fantastic Spa on almost 1000m² and 4 restaurants. We were of course invited to check out all of the restaurants located in the hotel and my personal favorites among these 4 were "La Trattoria" and "Alminar". First one is a lovely italian restaurant with a view over the hotel pool and gardens, romantic candle decorations and live music... honestly felt a little like being in Italy ;) Alminar is a Wine & Steak restaurant and definitely worth eating there as well. I guess the pics are speaking for themselves ;) Of course we also took the chance to explore their Spa since Maren and I are real big wellness fans! It offers a state-of-the-art fitness centre, a finish sauna, steam bath and relaxation area. I decided to choose an oriental massage (which was very relaxing!) and both Maren and I got a pedicure by "Bastien Gonzalez". With a presence in more than 15 countries, BG is internationally famous and award winning as well! It was the first professional pedicure I got in my entire life, but after this treatment (which also included a foot massage) my feet felt and looked absolutelly amazing. Definitely great to had the chance to experience that! Oh and by the way, The resort itself won several awards as well, like "Best Architecture", "Best Holiday Resort" or "Best Garden". No wonder that after these few days there we felt like newborn and totally recovered ;) Many thanks to the entire team for my amazing stay, I enjoyed it a lot! :)
Als mich kürzlich das Kempinski Bahia einlud um zusammen mit meiner süßen Maren deren Hotel in Estepona (Marbella) aus zu checken konnten wir natürlich nicht nein sagen. ;) Daher folgt hier nun mein Post über das wunderschöne Kempinski und ein paar Bilder... Gelegen ist das Hotel ca. 20 Minuten entfernt von Puerto Banus und Marbella und etwa 50 Minuten vom Malaga Airport. Was auch ziemlich cool ist, ist die Tatsache dass das Kempinski nur etwa zwei Minuten von einem der besten Beachclubs Marbellas entfernt liegt - dem Purobeach! (Hier könnt ihr meinen Post dazu sehen) Ansonsten hat das Hotel eine ziemlich klasse Lage direkt am Meer und dazu noch einige Pools und große Gärten etc. Insgesamt gibt es 128 Zimmer (Je 42-45 m²) und 17 Luxus-Suiten. Die Royal Suite (welche die größte aller verfügbaren Suiten ist und während unserer Zeit im Kempinski unser Zuhaus war) verfügt über unglaubliche 460 m² und bietet verteilt auf zwei Stockwerken so einiges, wie z.B. eine 200 m² große Dachterrasse, eine eigene Sky Bar, begehbarer Kleiderschrank, Küche etc... Neben wunderschönen Zimmern und Suiten bietet das Kempinski Bahia natürlich noch einiges mehr, z.B. ein fast 1000 m² großes SPA und vier Restaurants - die wir natürlich alle getestet haben! :) Meine persönlichen Lieblinge waren ganz klar "La Trattoria" und das "Alminar". Ersteres ist ein sehr süßes, italienisches Restaurant, dass eine tolle Aussicht auf den Pool, Livemusik und Dolce Vita Stimmung bietet. Das Alminar ist ein Steak/Wein-Restaurant das ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen ist. Ich denke die Bilder sprechen für sich ;) Natürlich haben wir während unseres Aufenthalts auch das SPA gründlich getestet - Maren und ich sind ja beide echte Wellness Fans ;) (ich habe mich z.B. für eine orientalische Massage entschieden) und danach durften wir uns dann noch eine Pediküre von "Bastien Gonzalez" gönnen. Es war die erste Pediküre dich ich jemals bekommen habe (inkl. war übrigens eine ganz tolle Fuß-Massage) und ich kann euch sagen meine Füße haben noch nie so toll ausgehen... Auf jeden Fall eine interessante Erfahrung! Vielen Dank an das komplette Kempinski Team für die wunderbare Zeit! :)
