I'm so sorry that I was not very active on my blog for so long, I mainly started to work rather on Instagram than on the website, but this will be changing in 2019! Promise! So here we start with a hotel review of a very unique and beautiful place that I visited some time ago.
You guys can for sure remember that I travelled to Phuket in April last year... Actually I have been to Phuket several times already, as I'm really a huge fan of this area. It's amazing to unwind some days, catch some sun and enjoy the tasty thai food... :) Plus, it's actually easy reachable by plane from germany... This time I stayed at a fabulous place called The Pavilions Phuket, which is located only 20 min by car from Phuket airport and just 5 minutes from Layan beach (The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to the beach!) Located on a hilltop, The Pavilions provides its guests a breathtaking view above the beautiful landscapes and is for sure the perfect hideaway for couples but also families... There are several room and Suite types available to book, I was staying in the Spa & Pool Pavilion, and I really loved it! This room category offers a huge private pool and a sundeck, a Spa room, a large master bedroom aso. All together you have 275m² of total area space and total privacy! Another highlight of the hotel is the Pavilions Spa, it is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and a huge lake. It is the perfect place to unwind! The Spa offers a pool, yoga pavilion and several treating rooms. I had a massage in the Spa and I felt like newly born afterwards! The therapists were very friendly and perfectly skilled. But my absolute favorite place in the hotel (next to my gorgeous Suite of course) was definitely The 360° Bar! (shown on the second last picture of this article) It's one of the most romantic places I have ever seen, you can enjoy the sunset there and have dinner and/or drinks. I can especially recommend the Bellinis there, those are absolutely yummy! ;) When it comes to food my favorite location was The Plantation Club, the atmosphere there is very romantic and elegant with an exotic touch, you have an amazing view and the food is exquisite! But of course if you're not in the mood to leave your villa, there is also the possibility to enjoy in-villa dining (And you can also book a romantic candlelight dinner in your villa by the way:) The Pavilions is definitely among my favorite hotels in Phuket, especially cause the whole hotel area is so spacious, you have a lot of privacy, several fancy restaurants to eat at and the main pool is amazing and simply huuuge (you can can probably remember how much I love pools...;) If you want to check out more about the hotel you can find the website here! I hope you liked this review and you guys had a great start in the new year! :)
