Some time ago I did spend some days in Dubai (it was my first time there but definitely not the last) and I thought I could share some of my travel tips for that city with you. Maybe you can remember the blog-posts which I already published about Dubai (They were about the Vida Downtown Dubai and the Purobeach Urban Oasis) But despite these places there are lots of other things you can do and see.... Where to stay: Dubai offers a huge variety of luxurious hotels, some of them are located on the Palm others in the City, in Downtown Dubai and so on. The first hotel I was staying in during my Dubai Trip was the Park Regis Kris Krin Hotel! It it very good located (you are kinda near to the Dubai Mall which is huuuge and perfect for a day full of shopping. And they also have a free shuttle going to the Mall!) and it is also really a good value for money! My personal favorites about the hotel were the amazing pool on the rooftop where you just have an incredible view (See picture 1 and 2) and not to forget the Dining experience as well: The Kris with a view is located in the 19th floor of the building with a breathtaking view above the city (especially great at night) and really good traditional food - mainly thai, indian and arabic cuisine. You can also stay there for a drink at the bar and listen to the live music! Really a nice experience and definitely a great hotel I did really like!
Where to play: There are so many cool places I wanted to see, but unfortunately time did fly and we did only make it to a few of them. But two places I can really recommend are for example the Cielo Sky Lounge which has an awesome view above the city's skyline, really tasty food and a pretty cool DJ. Make sure to go there for sunset! During daytime we did spend some time at the Riva Beach Club (Located on the Palm just by the beach) You can enjoy the pool or the sea and have your lunch there. I can recommend you the club sandwiches and they have some drinks which are served in a pineapple... that's really cool and they're very tasty too! :) Other nice places for party and food you should check: The Atmosphere (worlds highest restaurant), Gaucho, 40Kong, VIP Room, Cavalli Club, Buddha Bar, Le petit maison.
such gorgeous pieces!

ReplyDeleteI haven’t been to Dubai in a while but it is such a novel place, would love to head back to explore the Burj Khalifa. Also it would be great to stay at the Burj but not sure my budget would stretch to it.
ReplyDeleteExcellent very nice! No doubt Dubai is very famous for more activities but desert safari is very unique activity.
